Sometimes you gotta look back so you can see what's ahead.

I'll never forget the look on their faces.
That moment right after they walked off stage. Award in hand.
Smiling for the camera.
You can see it in their eyes: We did something that mattered.

Corporate events aren't about the swag, the venue, or the catering. Althoug someone would probably argue ;)

It's about giving your team a moment they'll remember when things get hard in Q2.
When the targets feel impossible.
When someone's thinking about updating their LinkedIn.

That photo? That's not just a memory. That's retention. That's culture.
That's your team telling their friends, "Yeah, my company actually gets it."

From someone who knows: Saying you have a great culture is one thing. Showing it is another. Companies who understand that investing in how people feel about their work is just as important as the work itself.

If you're planning your holiday party, your year-end celebration, or your 2026 SKO, this is your moment to act.
I'm filling out my last spots for '25.
Let's create moments your team wants to look back on.

How do you value your employees?

Inala Movement Studio: A Hidden Gem in Carmel, IN

How Corporate Headshots Boost Professional Branding In and Outside of Indianapolis

I recently had the privilege of meeting and working with Leslie, the owner of Inala Movement Studio. Leslie had just relocated her studio to Carmel, Indiana, and was in the process of building a new branded website. She knew exactly what she wanted: imagery that would not only complement her studio’s look but also reflect the unique style and energy of her work. She wanted photos that would give people a real sense of what it’s like to step into her space and move with her.

Having photographed a variety of fitness and wellness centers, everything from boutique studios to a pilates book, I thought I’d seen just about every approach out there. But this was something entirely new. Leslie introduced me to the Gyrotonic Expansion System. Honestly, the equipment itself is a work of art; it’s the kind of thing you might expect to see in a modern gallery. Imagine if Herman Miller designed fitness equipment, sleek, sculptural, and totally unexpected. But don’t be fooled by its beauty. This machine is a powerhouse, and you really have to see it, or better yet, experience it in motion, to appreciate what it can do.

Leslie and I agreed right away: no staged photos. Instead, we’d capture her in her element, teaching and assisting clients during real mini sessions. It wasn’t until I saw the flow of movement, on the equipment, the mats, the chairs, that I truly understood the fluidity and natural rhythm of what she does. Leslie’s approach is lighthearted but disciplined, guiding you through each movement with a mix of encouragement and expertise. Whether you’re looking for recovery, strength, or increased mobility, she’ll help you find the confidence and results you’re after.

If you’re searching for something that challenges the usual ideas of physical therapy, fitness, or wellness, Leslie at Inala Movement Studio is the person you need to meet. She’s changing the game, one session at a time.

Bonus: Tucked away in the back, Leslie has a private studio where she teaches ballroom dancing for anyone wanting to work on their footwork. Fun fact: it was actually through her years as a dancer that she first discovered the Gyrotonic method. It all comes full circle.

Stopping into Såo Paulo and Jumping out to Florîpa

What a great way to get a taste of Brazil!
My initial plan was to visit Rio de Janeiro but was informed that if I were to go there that I should hire security, especially being so close to Carnival. I can't tell you how bummed I was to hear that. I'm looking to have fun and relax not be on guard the whole time, so I opted for Florianopolis instead.
I can see Jesus when I close my eyes.
No regrets. The people were friendly, food was fantastic and really enjoyed my time.
Espero ver vocé novamente em breve, Brasil!

Capturing Award Winning Agency

10/25/2019

I got a call from CEO Duncan Alney of Firebelly.
He told me that his team was nominated for another award and so he needed an updated group photo that represented him and his Firebelly Social Media Marketing Agency Team.
We talked about doing something outside, possibly in Broad Ripple with graffiti walls or someplace new that he hasn't shot with his crew.
I suggested a place that I recently experimented with and here are a couple of the award winning photos they used for accepting their award.
Thanks Duncan for trusting in gregperez|studio!

Headshots for Business, Social Media, or Personal

10/6/2017

Last week I had the pleasure to work with Julie on taking headshots for her linkedin profile and any other business or personal needs she wants to use them for. I wanted to use a backdrop that looked current but yet timeless so that her photos came off fresh and not dated. Luckily she was open to meeting me onsite to a location on the northside of Indianapolis that I had previously shot for with G Michael Salon, just inside Ironworks at Keystone.  Take a look and let me know what you think.

The Public Collection Adds Conveyance

9/22/2017

I've been honored to be a part of The Public Collection by photographing each installation since the launch of its first series back in 2015.

This year Conveyance was added to the addition of installations this time located at the Alexander in City Way by the founders Adam Buente and Kyle Perry of Project One Studio.

Conveyance stands nearly 9 feet tall, 20 feet long, and 8 feet wide, where multiple people can enter from either side. The vibrant three-dimensional pyramids of color and contrasting white frame was designed to complement the collection of art inside The  Alexander.

The Public Collection is a public art and literacy project consisting of artist-designed book share stations, developed to increase access to books and art. The project aims to improve literacy, foster a deeper appreciation of the arts, and promote social and educational justice in our community. Through a curated process, Indiana-based artists were commissioned to design unique book share stations, or lending libraries, that are installed in community spaces around Indianapolis. The book share stations are free and available to everyone. Books for The Public Collection are supplied and stocked by the Indianapolis Public Library. Icelandic indie rock/folk band Kaleo performed a private concert for 92.3 WTTS VIP Members Only at the Tin Roof in Indianapolis, IN on Friday, January 29, 2016. I happened to be one of the few to witness upclose and raw sounds of this amazing upcoming band who recently signed with Atlantic Records. If you haven’t heard of these guys yet, search these songs and see what you’ve been missing. “Way Down We Go”, “All the Pretty Girls”, “No Good”featured on the new HBO series Vinyl that premiers February 14th on Valentine’s Day. Even better I got to meet these great guys after the show and really hope to see them again soon! Check out their website to get more info and upcoming shows at

FIT FLEX FLY

11/20/2015

Latest editorial titled “Fit Flex Fly,” inspired by F3 Fitness Studio is styled alongside a selection of athletic streetwear and fashion apparel. Shot by Greg Perez, the atmospheric photo-set features scenes from downtown Indianapolis and vigorous acrobatic movements by athlete, trainer, dancer, and wife Elizabeth Heidari. With the mix of athletic + fashion wear front and center, the editorial plays with contrasting the athleticism motion of flight alongside the cityscape of Indianapolis.
